Bankers' Bank Northeast is a wholesale bank that offers a variety of correspondent services to community financial institutions throughout New England and New York. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
Operations Specialist I or II
Primarily responsible for processing USD and foreign denomination international wire transfers including OFAC verification using the Federal Reserve processing platform in accordance with set schedule throughout the day. Process requests for foreign exchange services including foreign check collection, cash letter and currency purchase/sales. Compliance with all BSA/AML/OFAC requirements as associated with these job responsibilities. Must be able to utilize various resources to assist with any questions, issues, international investigations, technical problems when dealing with the Bank’s clients.
Minimum 1-2 years of banking/teller or deposit operations experience preferable. Must be PC literate and familiar with Excel, Word, Outlook and the Internet. Ability to work in a team environment and have a willingness to take banking-related courses and other job-related educational classes/seminars to help solidify banking knowledge.
This is a full-time, entry level position with scheduled working hours of 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. Flexibility required at end of day as candidate is part of a rotation to stay until daily processing requirements are completed. Need to be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Enterprise Risk Manager
We offer an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced compliance officer. The candidate will serve as the regulatory expert for both BBN and our clients. The position will report to the Bank’s Board of Directors Audit Committee and the President & CEO.
The ideal candidate should possess an ambitious entrepreneurial spirit and desire to develop and launch a brand-new Compliance Management Consulting Service. This role includes managing service delivery, selecting and re-marketing compliance management software and developing a Compliance Hotline, as well as building a staff. The Enterprise Risk Manager will play an active role in the sale and promotion of this new service, as well as be responsible for its profitability.
As a member of the BBN team, the Enterprise Risk Manager will be responsible for the enterprise risk management process, including the processes used to identify, assess, respond to and report on risk. The Enterprise Risk Manager will chair BBN’s Risk Council, identify new compliance requirements applicable to BBN, and coordinate and oversee outsourced audit activities, including internal and external auditing and loan review. The ideal candidate will also be a resource for management during new business initiatives and implementation of new regulations or procedures. The candidate should possess strong consensus-building abilities and be able to work well with both management and clients.
