Megan L. Desso
Enterprise Risk Manager
Megan Desso worked for several years as an Internal Auditor at Liberty Bank, a $2.6 billion bank in Middletown, Connecticut. Her duties and responsibilities included the execution of the bank’s financial, operational and compliance audits. She worked closely with regulatory and state examiners. In addition, she prepared audit plans, reviewed departmental policies, procedures and controls, and developed various bank programs. Megan also performed the duties as Information Security Officer and Privacy Officer.
As Internal Auditor Megan will coordinate all audit activities for the Bank, evaluate Disaster Recovery testing and assessment, perform IT Risk Assessment. As the Internal Auditor she reports directly to the Bank’s Audit Committee.
As Products Manager, Megan is responsible for ensuring that existing and proposed new correspondent products and services are aligned with the needs of our client banks. She researches and prepares strategic alliance recommendations for management to include associated costs and pricing.
Megan graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and Mathematics. She is a resident of Marlborough, CT.
