Peter Garland has over 27 years of financial experience with a concentration in commercial lending. In addition to over 14 years in commercial banking, Mr. Garland's 13 years of experience as Chief Financial Officer of a technology based composite manufacturing company provides the invaluable perspective of having sat on both sides of the table. His experience offers a keen understanding of the issues and challenges that confront today's business executives.

Mr. Garland began his career with Colorado State Bank and First Interstate Bank of Denver where he served in various positions including Commercial Loan Officer and Senior Credit Analyst. Mr. Garland's expertise in credit analysis led him to Far West Savings and Loan, a $4 Billion savings and loan association in Newport Beach, California where he became Senior Vice President of Major Loan Underwriting. In addition to serving as a member of Senior Loan Committee at Far West, Mr. Garland managed commercial real estate underwriting, loan review and the loan appraisal.

In 1988 Mr. Garland returned to New England to serve as Chief Financial Officer for a composite technology company headquartered in Connecticut. Mr. Garland was responsible for banking relationships, financial operations, and treasury management. In addition, he managed investor relations, information technology, intellectual property and human resources.

In 2001 Mr. Garland returned to banking for Tolland Bank's Commercial Loan Department where he was responsible for commercial loan portfolio analysis and reporting, and credit analysis.

Mr. Garland graduated from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Finance.
