The First National Bank of Suffield Donates to Three Area Organizations
Good Luck Turned a Golf Outing into Meaningful Contributions
Suffield, Connecticut, November 15, 2013 —The First National Bank of Suffield is particularly pleased to have recently made three donations to local charitable organizations as a result of its participation in Bankers’ Bank Northeast’s 11th Annual Charity Golf Tournament in August. At this annual golf outing, Bankers’ Bank raises money that is then divided among their client banks throughout New England so they can make donations to charities of their choice. This year, The First National Bank of Suffield was the lucky recipient of $2,700 to donate at its discretion.
The Bank selected three local organizations to receive funds: Suffield Emergency Aid Association received $700, Suffield Volunteer Ambulance received $500, and Enfield Loaves and Fishes received $1,500 through a Future for Fashion event.
Nancy Viggiano, President of the Bank, said, “We were so pleased to have had the opportunity to make these unexpected gifts to such worthy groups. Between our sponsorship of various events and the volunteer work done by our employees, The Bank remains deeply committed to supporting its communities. We are grateful to Bankers’ Bank Northeast for making these donations possible.”
