Announcing Our New Location!

Bankers’ Bank Northeast is pleased to announce that we will be relocating our corporate office on January 23, 2012 to 43 Western Boulevard, Glastonbury, CT 06033-4338.  This new location will increase our office space by about 4,000 square feet and gives us what we need to meet our current and future growth expectations. Please remember to update your records accordingly, especially for any items mailed directly to BBN such as Foreign Cash Letter items and Bond Coupons.

New Service

Through a new strategic alliance partnership, Bankers' Bank Northeast now offers QwickRate® which is a non-brokered funding and investment program. QwickRate connects institutional buyers and sellers quickly and efficiently with direct national access to a network of pre-screened financial institutions. There are no transactions fees as you only pay a subscription fee based on your asset size. This presents an opportunity to earn an additional yield over Fed Funds. 

New Account Analysis System

In June 2010, Bankers' Bank Northeast implemented a new Account Analysis System. This analysis system will also support a number of new operational functions which will improve efficiency and accuracy. In addition, this new system allows Bankers' Bank Northeast to automate previously manual data input which will mean faster delivery of the monthly analysis statements. Even though the look of the account analysis statments has changed (much cleaner, easier to read), the information captured for analysis remains the same. 

International Service Enhancement

Through our strategic alliance partnership agreement between Custom House Foreign Exchange and eZforex.com, Inc., Bankers' Bank Northeast now offers a superior online solution for foreign currency exchange. This enhancement provides transparency to bank customers offering two ways for ordering foreign currency; in branch or thorough your secure online banking website.

Image Cash Letter - STARS™ OnWe^® Network

Bankers’ Bank Northeast (BBN) is a “Community Host” for the OnWe Network^® in New England and New York. This image network enables our client banks to present and receive items to and from banks locally and nationally. Image files are delivered to BBN utilizing a secure Internet exchange console that is similar to our STARS™ platform. Therefore, you do not need to invest in new software. While the existing national image clearing networks (e.g. Endpoint Exchange, Viewpoint) concentrate on large bank presentations, OnWe^® focuses on large volumes from local banks ‘across the street’. OnWe^® combined with STARS™ provides a platform to combine the benefits of both check volume sources to enhance availability and to reduce clearing costs.
